Seven for completion, infinity for after
A Cap, A Verse And A Newspaper
7nity is a faith-driven streetwear label built in South Africa, in small runs, by the people you see wearing it.
How it started
We printed the paper before we had the clothes
The first thing 7nity ever made was not a garment. It was sixteen pages of newsprint that said first collection coming soon, folded by hand and given to friends. The clothes had to catch up to the promise.
What came first was a five-panel cap with Walk by faith stitched across the front — a verse people wear every day without having to explain themselves. Everything since has been built around that one idea: make things worth putting on, and keep the runs small enough to mean something.
We walk by faith, not by sight2 Corinthians 5:7
How we work
Three rules we started with
Small runs, counted
Forty overcoats. Three hundred zines. When a number is reached, that piece is finished — the next idea gets the fabric instead.
Made where we live
Cut and sewn in South Africa with local machinists. It costs more per unit and we would rather absorb that than ship the work overseas.
Answer the message
Every order, question and swap comes through WhatsApp and gets answered by one of us. No ticket numbers, no bot.
Say what it is
Faux fur is called faux fur. Stock counts on this site are the real counts. If something is finishing samples, it says coming soon, not "sold out".
Where we are going
Volume Two is already cut
The next run adds the "Not By Sight" cap, the Lover's Club long sleeve, the varsity jacket everybody asked about, and washed carpenter denim. Same rules — counted runs, made here, announced on Instagram and to the list first.
- Four new pieces finishing samples now
- Announced to the WhatsApp list before the feed
- Volume One pieces will not be reprinted
